原以为一集一个小镇，没想到是盘点类的形式，10个美国特色小镇，我居然只听过2个，其中一个还是不算town的费城。这些城市的建设还是挺有特点的，有机会还是要去看看。
很形象地复习了一遍global urbanism 讲得比想象中还有具体 虽然视角不完全neutral 还是喜欢的
非常有趣的宏观历史人文，从城市规划视角切入。town的翻译不准，town就是城镇，市镇。
Seaside，Florida 这个镇子简直就是全世界滨海旅游度假区的祖宗，启发了迪士尼小镇的设立。从这个案例我想到了天朝流行的“泰晤士小镇”“荷兰小镇”“西班牙小镇”这类village ,美帝这个“Village”概念好奇怪啊，各地争当，每年还有纪念活动，纪念他们是个“村”，说是“village”房价都高20%。
